How can I make sure my super is doing as well as possible between now and retirement?

Posted September 4, 2017 by MoneyLink

What type of fund are you in?

Growth, conservative, balanced, shares, cash? It’s important to know.

Is it the best fund for you? Have you completed a risk profile? Are you a cautious person or a growth seeker? Once you know, you can select and switch to funds that suit your approach. The higher volatility funds fluctuate more but usually earn much higher returns over the long term.

You need to review your investments annually with your financial adviser, and keep an eye on their progress.

Do your research! Get independent research advice to compare funds. MoneyLink Financial advisers can help with this… as well as reviewing contribution rates.
